Youth Ministry | Religious Education

Pastorate-wide youth ministry takes place on Wednesday evenings for middle and high school students from September to May.
Youth Ministry provides our young people with a chance to encounter Jesus and learn more about their faith while building relationships with their peers and small group leaders.
Youth Ministry meets on Wednesday nights!
Second and Third Wednesdays of the month:
-
6:30-7:30 PM at St. Mary
-
These class times consist of teaching, small group discussions, activities, and time for prayer,
We are always seeking adults who enjoy working with middle or high school youth to assist us in our youth ministry efforts! Training, formation, and resources are provided.

Contact Hannah (hflaten@divinemercysf.org) with questions or to learn more about attending youth ministry or volunteering.
Youth Group
All 6th-8th graders in the Pastorate are welcome to attend Youth Group! Youth Group is free to attend.
Starting September 9, Youth Group meets on the 1st and 4th Wednesdays of each month.
High Schoolers are greatly encouraged to be part of the ministry and help serve!
What's the difference between Youth Group and Religious Education?
At Youth Group, we will foster a place of friendship as we embrace community through fun games and activities, short, faith-centered reflections, group discussions, and time for prayer together.
The RE program is separate from Youth Group. Youth Group is an additional opportunity for 6th-8th graders in the Pastorate. Even if your student is not attending RE in the Fall, there is a place for them at Youth Group.
If your student is planning to attend, challenge them to invite 2-3 friends to join them!
