Baptism

First-time parents need to attend a Baptism class, held on the second Tuesday of each month. Call 605-743-8025 to sign up. This class can be taken before your child is born.
First Reconciliation
Pastorate Wide Class
We provide a first Sacraments program that parents and students complete together so that your child is prepared to receive their First Sacraments. This program is in addition to our 2nd Grade Religious Education Program.

We provide a first Sacraments program that parents and students complete together so that your child is prepared to receive their First Sacraments. This program is in addition to our 2nd Grade Religious Education Program.
Registration for preparation for First Reconciliation and First Communion will go out in the Fall to parents of 2nd graders at St. Mary Elementary and the Pastorate's Religious Education Program. For parents with children not at the school or in RE, please contact Justine at jolawsky@divinemercysf.org
Confirmation
Registration is now open for
Confirmation Classes!
We provide a Confirmation program that students complete so that your child is prepared to be Confirmed. This program is in addition to our Religious Education Program. Confirmation Classes start in September and go until Confirmation (typically in January).
One of the preparation requirements for receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation is to attend a retreat. Divine Mercy Pastorate is offering a retreat on Saturday, September 26. If you aren't able to attend this retreat, there are other opportunities for retreats throughout the diocese. Visit the Youth Ministry page for retreat options.
Anointing of the Sick
For anyone who is sick
If you are sick with a serious illness, especially if you will be going through surgery, the grace of the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick is a helpful preparation. If possible, it is always best to have one of our priests administer this sacrament before you get to the hospital. Please let our priests know of your need and this can be done after Mass on Sundays or by stopping into the office/chapel.
